Pakistan is Committed to Ensure Minority Rights – Khursheed Nadeem

A high-level delegation comprising senior officers, Mr. Zafar Mahmood Malik DG -Secretary and Mr. Suhail Bin Aziz Director, headed by Mr. Khursheed Ahmad Nadeem, the Chairman National Rahmatul lil Aalameen WA Khatamun Nabiyyin Authority (NRKNA) visited the Religious celebrations of Sikh community at Punja Sahib, Hassanabdal on the Besakhi Festival.
The delegation attended the main event of the Festival. Punjab Minister for Minority Affairs, Sardar Ramesh Singh Aurora welcomed the delegation and appreciated the participation of the delegation. At the end of the event, the Chairman National Rahmatul lil Aalameen Wa Khatamun Nabiyyin Authority (NRKNA) and his delegation distributed gifts among the leading personalities of the Sikh community.
The Chairman NRKNA, while expressing his views stated that participation of the delegation in Besakhi festival is a message of respect and regard for all segments of the society, irrespective of their religion, caste, and creed. This is also a source that everyone has the freedom of worship according to their faith. Mr. Khurshid Nadeem marked the visit a goodwill gesture to showcase the spirit of “Rehmat Sub Ke Liyay” Blessing for All.
The arrangements and cooperation of local administration were also appreciated by the head of the delegation. The participation of the delegation from National Rahmatul lil Aalameen Wa Khatamun Nabiyyin Authority has been viewed as a very goodwill gesture by the Sikh community and the Muslim Community at large. This is a step towards a firm and effective effort to ensure inter-faith harmony in the country.
The President and Director of Sir Syed Education Foundation, Pakistan, Mr. Tahir Durrani, Qazi Zahoor ul Haq and Mr. Zulfiqar Hayat Khan also accompanied the NRKNA delegation.
